Located in the high mountains of Serra de Mantiqueria, Minas Gerais, sits Fazenda da Biquinha, a coffee farm spanning 4 generations. Guilherme Franco has taken the reigns of this farm for his family, coffee growing is instilled deep in his blood. His inspiration to grow quality coffee across high and low altitiudes has seen Guilherme obtain a Masters in Science and complete further studies in Agricultural Engineering. The farm is placed across some spectacular terrain, adopting a unique planting methodology and post harvest care has meant that Guilherme and his family have been able to produce some wonderfully complex coffee. Expect tasting notes of malt, chocolate, cherry and marzipan with a hint of white grape. Combined with a rich and syrupy body that sits on the tongue for an eternity. |
