Sitting amongst the picturesque Santander, within the Andes, is Hacienda Casablanca. A coffee farm built on a dream of owner Liliana Caballero.

Liliana purchased Casablanca over 10 years ago, at the time the farm was in poor shape. Though coffee plantations were already in place the previous trees (Tabi) were replaced with Castillo and Gesha.

With a background in construction, Liliana is a forward thinker who follows precise practices. This is apparent in the coffee harvesting and processing regimes.

An exceptional coffee, clean and crisp with notes of stewed stone fruits, vanilla, and fruit mince spices. A lively citrus like acidity has this one sparkling on the tongue before settling into a long lasting buttery and sweet finish.

Very good as espresso and with milk, though don’t be shy to put this one in the french press or pour over!
