Tarrazu is located within the interior mountains of Costa Rica and is renowned for coffee that is heavier bodied and complex in aroma. Community Naranjo de Dota comes from the farms of the Corella Grandos brothers. They boast a generous 50 hectares of coffee plantation within the region. At present these plots are new plantations, in their fifth year of production. The cherries are expertly picked and then processed at the Palmichal Mill, fully washed and dried mechanically. In the cup there are notes of plum jam, fruit cake, dark chocolate and roasted hazelnuts. A very mild acidity with a balanced finish that lingers. |
